This creamy mineral sunscreen with SPF 35 and lightweight moisture is great for all skin types, including acne-prone. While the formula has a peachy hue to help neutralize the white cast commonly associated with ...

A lightweight, broad-spectrum mineral sunscreen that provides protection against the elements—environmental pollution, blue-light pollution, and the sun.

2.5 fl. oz. / 75 ml

How: Gently smooth an even, generous layer (about the size of a coin) onto skin. Because mineral sunscreen acts as a barrier, sitting on the surface of the skin, do smooth it on—don’t rub it in the way you would a moisturizer. Use a light touch with this and any products you apply after to avoid makeup pilling.
Where: Face and neck. Bonus points for hands—after your eyes, hands are the number two spot that gives away age.
When: AM (every AM), after your moisturizer has fully absorbed into your skin. If wearing makeup, allow 2-3 minutes for the sunscreen to sink in before applying primer or other cosmetics. Even though mineral sunscreen goes to work right away, we recommend following FDA guidelines to wait 15 minutes before sun exposure. Reapply every 2 hours when in direct sunlight or getting wet.

Good to Know: If you’re applying the recommended 1/2 teaspoon daily, you should finish your tube of Guards Up long before the expiration date printed on the crimp. If you aren’t finishing the tube within a few months, you aren't using enough. For the best experience, keep it out of the sun and extreme heat (a.k.a. don't leave it in your car) too.

    TOOOO GOOD TO DISCONTINUE

After reading all the good reviews, and seeing that it was being discontinued, I took a leap of faith and ordered 3 of them because literally every single review LOVED IT. Now I am just another person who loves this sunscreen and would love for it to stick around and not be discontinued!! All three bottles expired in July of this year, I am going to need more!!!

I have sensitive, acne prone skin and use Tretinoin. This doesn’t irritate my skin, or clog my pores. This sunscreen is almost too good to be true honestly.

    Best sunscreen ever

I am now going to have to search for a new mineral sunscreen!! I ordered the new one and didn’t notice it was a chemical sunscreen. I thought all Versed products were supposed to be safe and free of harmful chemicals! I am very disappointed. This was my favorite sunscreen. There are other products you have changed that I have really liked and then you change!

    Not good!!
