Do you have samples?
A free sample of your choice is offered with every order placed on VersedSkin.com (and stay tuned for more sampling updates).
Do you accept international orders?
Not at this time, but you can sign up for our weekly newsletter for the latest updates. In the meantime, our amazing friends at Revolve do! Target ships to Canada and Mexico too.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, and American Express credit cards and debit cards. We also accept PayPal and Apple Pay. We are unable to accept prepaid gift cards, checks, or money orders.
Where do you ship?
We ship everywhere in the continental U.S. as well as Hawaii and Alaska. Heads up: You may experience slightly longer delivery times when shipping to Hawaii, Alaska, and U.S. territories. Please note at this time our Silk Slip Conditioning Lip Oil can only ship via ground within the continental U.S. (but we’re working on it!). Additionally, we cannot accept orders that are billed and shipped to P.O. boxes or freight forwarders.
Do you offer free shipping?
Yes! Standard shipping is 100% on us for all orders valued at $35 or more (that’s pre-tax and shipping costs). It’s a flat rate of $5.99 for orders under $35. If you’re in a rush, we also offer two-day shipping for $14.99.
When will my order ship?
VersedSkin.com orders are processed, shipped, and delivered on business days: Monday through Friday (excluding major holidays). Processing takes about one to two business days. Orders placed by 1 p.m. EST Monday through Friday will be processed the same day. Then, it’s off to our shipping carriers.
When will my order arrive?
With FedEx Smartpost, orders arrive three to seven business days after processing. When you select FedEx 2-Day, expect your order to arrive two business days after it’s processed. Don’t worry—we’ll send you an email with all the details as soon as your goods leave our warehouse.
What is your return policy?
We proudly offer a 30-day guarantee on all of our products. If you didn’t love a Versed product for any reason, please reach out to the Versed Team at [email protected], and we’ll address any questions or concerns. We issue exchanges or full refunds for products returned within 30 days. While we're happy to refund or replace your product, we are unfortunately unable to refund shipping charges. Please see our Terms of Service for additional details about our return policy.
How do I start a return or exchange?
We’re sorry it didn’t work out for you, but our Customer Care team will be happy to help. Just reach out to [email protected] with your request, and one of our team members will follow up with you and provide instructions.
How long does it take to process a return?
Expect about five to 10 business days for credit and debit card refunds to appear on your statement.
What do you recommend for my skin type?
We get it—skincare can be confusing. That’s why we developed a tool to eliminate some of that guesswork, our Skin Decoder. It’s a nine-question quiz for personalized product and regimen recommendations. We’ll ask you about your skin, your lifestyle, and your concerns and give you the download on what your skin needs.
Are your products natural?
We’re a clean a brand, meaning we use natural ingredients as well as lab-created ingredients. While there are no regulated definitions of “clean beauty” or “natural beauty,” we define our clean product philosophy as focusing on the good (ingredients that are safe and effective, whether natural or synthetic) and cutting the bad (toxic or questionable ingredients that cause more harm than good—both natural and synthetic ingredients are included here as well). Are you vegan and cruelty-free?
Versed is proudly vegan and cruelty-free (we love our furry friends!) and certified by the great folks at Leaping Bunny.
Are you paraben- and sulfate-free?
Yes, and we wouldn’t have it any other way. We’re free of parabens, sulfates, and over 1300 toxins and questionable ingredients. Check out more on our clean philosophy and peep our no-list on our About page.
Do any of your products contain soy or soy derivatives?
None of our products contain soy derivatives, however, if you’re avoiding soy, skip our Keep It Supple Body Oil and the Silk Slip Conditioning Lip Oil. Those two products do have small amounts of soybean oil.
Do any of your products contain nuts?
Most of our products are nut-free. These five contain a form of nut oil: Day Dissolve Cleansing Balm, Silk Slip Conditioning Lip Oil, Just Breathe Clarifying Serum, Keep It Supple Body Oil, and Nix It Complexion Solution.
Are your products gluten-free?
Yes, all of our other products are gluten-free except for Dew Point Moisturizing Gel-Cream.
Are your products safe to use during pregnancy and breastfeeding?
As always, your doctor should be your first stop. But we recommend skipping The Shortcut Overnight Facial Peel, which contains a form of retinol and AHAs (alpha hydroxy acids), and On the Rise Firming Serum, which contains a form of retinol. The rest of our products are safe for use after consulting your physician.
Where can I find the percentage of your active ingredients?
We focus on the total formula—the combination of ingredients and how they work together. We don’t want people to get hung up on percentages because the optimal level (the concentration that is safe and effective for skin) can vary a lot based on what the ingredient is and how it's used. Some ingredients are effective at concentrations into the double digits. Whereas other ingredients, like retinol, would be harmful and irritating to skin at levels less than half that concentration. We promise to only call out and use ingredients in the formula at levels shown to do something for your skin, and we never sprinkle in an ingredient just to say it's there—no so-called “marketing ingredients” here.
Is your packaging eco-friendly?
We're committed to helping reduce the flow of packaging waste to landfills. To do so, we use recyclable materials (we’re 92% recyclable, to be exact) and alternative packaging made from 97% less material than traditional designs—all that while still keeping our prices accessible to most people. To help ensure as much of our packaging as possible stays out of landfills, you can find instructions on how to recycle each item on its product page under the “Good to Know” tab and in our recycling guide.
We’re also proud to use zero-waste shippers for all of our orders. From the box, which is made from 100% post-consumer recycled material and printed on with recycle-friendly ink, to the packing paper, which is naturally biodegradable, compostable, recyclable, and SFI-certified, your products arrive greener. And other than the complimentary sample that you opt into, we keep our shipments free from excess inserts.

What should I do with my empties?
Check with your local curbside recycling program to find out what type of recyclables they pick up, or you can always bring your items to the recycling station located at the front of every Target store. The store accepts all plastics and will make sure your empties are recycled properly.
Are your products ethically made?
Thank you for interest in ethical practices (we share that too). We've worked hard to ensure our entire process is held to high ethical and environmental standards. Our manufacturer selection process includes vetting partners based on the quality of their formulas, their ability to produce at accessible prices, and their commitment to a comprehensive set of good manufacturing practices (GMPs). Our GMPs include requirements specific to product safety, safe and fair labor, and environmental stewardship.
All of our products are also vegan, certified cruelty-free by Leaping Bunny, and formulated to the European Union's extensive clean ingredients standards.

What if I’m outside of the U.S. can I still text?
Unfortunately no. The service is only available in the U.S. because SMS Short Codes are given on a country by country basis, so international carriers will not recognize our Short Code. Until the technology catches up, we’ll answer your questions via email at [email protected] or Live Chat.
