Weekend Glow

This serum is seriously effective and has brightened my skin. I have been struggling with breakouts and post acne scarring as I am in my first trimester of pregnancy, and this serum has greatly helped my skin. I have tried very expensive vitamin c serums, and they can sometimes be irritating, burn/sting the skin, and also leave a tacky/sticky feel to the skin once absorbed. This formula is a light gel texture that absorbs beautifully with no tackiness, and there is no burning, stinging or irritation upon application. I have been using this morning and night, and my skin is looking soo much better! This photo of me is right after application and I couldn't be happier. You also can't beat the price point! I will absolutely restock this and keep it in my skincare collection.

I love this product! Although I have never had an issue with dull skin or uneven skin tone, I have always liked to use a brightening serum and/or mask to give my skin a little pop & this product is so good for that. I love that even though it's a serum, it isn't oily or heavy in any way, which is another bonus. I have been a strict user of Versed for over five years & I have always loved their brightening products, so I'm really excited to add this product into my daily routine.

It is a fantastic product.  If you are looking for something lightweight and promises to do what it is supposed to do, then this would be a great option.

It brightens me without any irritation to my sensitive skin.  Sometimes some Vitamin C products give me a burning and stinging sensation.  This product feels gentle.  No sting and no burn.

The texture is light, fast absorbing, and melts right into my skin.  It leaves no sticky or greasy residue.

It is unscented, which is great for my sensitive nose to fragrance.

The Vitamin C and licorice ingredients pair up very well in giving me subtle brightness.  

I love using this under my makeup. 

Oily/ combo skin would enjoy this product a lot because of the lightweight texture.  Dry to normal skin may want to layer something more hydrating, especially in a cold and windy environment.

Overall, a good product.  I would like others to give this a try.

Vitamin c serums tend to be pretty hit or miss for me- either too strong and cause redness/milia or too weak and do nothing. I am so pleased to report that the Weekend Glow serum is a unicorn, an incredible price point for what feels like high quality vitamin c serum at an effective, yet gentle concentration. I was also really pleased to see that this product was housed in an opaque container, as vitamin c serums are rendered ineffective when exposed to light. I've been using this product for about 2 weeks now and can tell a noticeable difference in the overall brightness of my winter complexion, which is usually dull this time of year. The product itself is lightweight and absorbs quickly, there's no stickiness or residual tackiness after use. It also pairs beautifully with the Weekend Glow eye cream and and Skin Soak hydrating moisturizer- this combo together has made my lackluster winter skin glow. Another hit from Versed! I'm so impressed and would definitely recommend this serum to other people out there with sensitive/reactive skin.
